BTOSports.com/BBMX/Palmetto Suzuki-Monster Energy Sponsor Cup Series/ Round 10
Dade City, FL (BTOSports.com) June 27, 2010 – BTOSports.com / BBMX / Palmetto Suzuki team rider Kyle Keylon put a new definition to the word domination as he put together solid 1-1 moto scores to take his first overall win of the Sponsor Cup Series. Kyle has laid down the fastest lap times for the past few rounds in practice, only to be outdone by his teammate Jason Thomas on one occasion, however has not been able to put the moto results together that he is capable of. But this past Saturday was Kyle's day as he laid down the fastest practice qualifying time and two moto wins in smooth fashion.
Moto 1 would see Keylon taking the holeshot and put in a flawless ride from start to finish, never looking back until after he got the checkers. Teammate Jason Thomas would go into the first corner side by side with Keylon, only to bobble a bit on the outside and come out in 5th position. Thomas was on fire as well and started moving up quickly, only to go down while trying to make a pass on the outside of Mike Picone. Thomas would remount in 7th and work his way back up to 5th by the finish.
Moto 2 would see team BTOSports.com / BBMX / Palmetto Suzuki riders Thomas and Keylon 1 & 2 as they rounded the first corner. Thomas would hold onto the lead for just about 2 laps, until Keylon would make a pass around his teammate to take the lead. Keylon would again put on a flawless ride to the finish, as Thomas would ride just as smooth and finish with a comfortable 2nd.
After the 4th round of the Monster Energy Sponsor Cup Series, team BTOSports.com riders look to be getting a solid hold on the field. "Each week, both our riders seem to be getting more and more confident, and we definitely feel that we have the best bikes on the track thanks to all our sponsors. Our WMI motors are pulling just about every holeshot now and our Factory Connection suspension is hands down allowing Kyle and JT to push their bikes more than the other riders. There are still 11 rounds to go though and our plan is to keep taking it just one race at a time" says team owner Forrest Butler.
