Sizing:
To ensure proper fit, circumference measurements should be taken directly on the skin with the leg straightened, using a soft tape measure. (If a soft tape measure is not available, a piece of string or yarn may be used to calibrate the leg's diameter, then measured against a hard tape measure.)
1. Locate the middle of the kneecap and measure around the leg. Measurements should be taken directly on the skin with a straight leg.
Measurements for the Germ must fit between these sizes:
Small/Medium measures 10.25" - 11.75"
Large/X-Large measures 12.00' - 12.875"

My son has been racing for 6 years and has always used asterisk braces. They are comfortable and do their job. Best bang for your buck for a youth brace. Nice thing is they can be rebuilt.

I wear asterisk braces so I brought these for my son and he will not ride without them now, had to buy new pants as the braces were to big for the legs but pants were 2 yr old and new pants seem to acomodate braces now as they have developed.
