Scott - 89Xi Desert Goggle
Riding in a desert environment puts extreme demands on a goggle; this is why
the 89Xi Desert Goggle was created. High winds, fine soil, and sand can
make the desert a virtual dustbowl, blinding riders with particulate matter.
For this reason the 89Xi Desert Goggle has specialized vent foam. After
formulating and testing numerous foams, Scott's design team identified one that
handles the demands of the desert. With increased density and a reduction in
pore size, the all new Dust-Catcher Vent Foam on the 89Xi Desert Goggle keeps
the dust out and lets rider enjoy themselves. To round out the package,
Scott installed a gray-based light sensitive lens; the brighter the day, the
darker the lens gets.
