My KTM seat used to rip all the time, I used this for a while now and it still looks new.
I don't like a soft seat on my motocross bike, this one is just nice.
I am buying another one for my Kawasaki.

The seat is definately hard which isn't SUCH a bad thing but it could be a little softer. My biggest complaint however is the white seat simply isn't white, its an off white and looks pretty gross actually. I am pretty bummed out when I look at it because it just looks like yellowed seat foam with no seat cover.

Comments about Acerbis - X-Seat:
Its a solid seat that should last longer than the bike itself, but it is a little hard. Some may like this, some may not. It has more grip than a stock seat and is easy to move around on though. I am personally pleased with the purchase. Plus.. the seat looks sweet on the bike

Comments about Acerbis - X-Seat:
This seat was exactly what i was looking for, i was looking for #1 a stiffer seat than what is on my yamaha YZ250f, and #2 i kept having problems if my stock seat got dirt on it i would slide off the back when accelerating out of corners n my races even tho i was grip[ping my legs THIS FIXED THAT!!! When ever i buy another bike this will be one of my frst upgrades!!!
