CP Carrillo - PX Piston Kit (MX)
PX (Project X) - Fully boxed-style forging for ultimate strength, durability and power. Reconfigured piston skirt designs maximize power and reduce piston rocking. Double-pin oilers engineered in conjunction with broached oilers to deliver twice the amount of oil to the pin. Wrist pins treated with proprietary coating to eliminate pin galling and overcome brittleness associated with hardened metals.
All CP piston kits include circlips, rings, piston, wrist pin, base gasket, engine case gasket, exhaust gasket, head gasket, and all copper washers. All gaskets are made by Cometic.
- External bracing minimizes piston deformation to maintain maximum ring support to deliver more power
- Internal bracing strengthens the part in the most critical area: the pin bore. Maximizes durability while decreasing friction in pin assembly
- Internal windows allow excess oil to reach the wrist pin. these windows along with CP standard double pin oilers promote longer life and more useable horsepower
- Wider skirt faces and redesigned profiles are engineered for stability, power and durability. All Project "X" pistons come standard with skirt coating which reduces friction, which in turn reduces heat.
