On paper, a privateer is a rider that does not receive factory support to compete. But what really defines a privateer is his will to succeed against seemingly impossible odds. The privateer is the heart and soul of motocross. A portion of each Privateer goggle sold will be redistributed in to the Dragon Optical Privateer Contingency Fund, and ultimately back into the pockets (or gas tanks) of the privateer riders traveling the professional circuit.
