The Epic HD is a good camera that shoots HD video and takes high quality still photos. It is easy to operate, comes with a nice selection of mounts, and Epic provides a variety of accessories. It uses AAA batteries that are readily available at any store, and the camera is comparable in size to its competition. With the next generation, I would like to see Epic include a red/green LED as a visual cue to indicate recording/standby modes like other HD cameras. A cap to protect the lens from damage during transport or while in storage would also be a nice feature.
