I would say dont waste your money. But if you do decide to get these, here are some tips. Go buy rolls of athletic tape. This will be used to wrap the straps so they stay together. If you have skinny legs like me the straps wont even work so the tape is a must. Second, get some tall sock or make a sleeve for your knees. These things rubbed me raw. Third, Soap and Water, some reason these things can hold the smells like no other. Last, dont fall, I went down in a corner the second time I ever used them and shattered the knee cap piece. It wasnt even a hard fall. I suggest getting the thor Knee guards or upgrade to asterisk.

Comments about EVS - Strata Knee/Shin Guard:
As usual, I already busted 1 knee before getting anything, so with a right knee full of fluid, I got a set. My first ride with them was Budds Creek am day after the Fathers Day pro national. I always heard you will hate them the first ride, then you will never ride without them. Well, start of moto 1, I was out front and hit the brakes to late in the first turn, and got to check out the left one, from the get go. Didn't feel a thing. Actually couldn't tell I had them on. They worked as advertised and couldn't tell they were there other than my pants were a little tighter around the knee. A must have and highly recommended.

Comments about EVS - Strata Knee/Shin Guard:
2 rides on these knee guards. Broke both knee guards at the hinge in the same spot on each guard on second ride. [$] knee guards are garbage. No crashes. I will see if EVS replaces them. Other than the fact they are useless after 2 rides they seem great. Comfortable, good protection etc. Those things don't matter if they are in a dumpster though.

Comments about EVS - Strata Knee/Shin Guard:
They are lighter feeling than my thor force were but they also do not feel quite as secure. these are a great full protection knee guard where the thor force is a borderline knee brace

Lightweight, comfortable and completely reliable! My Wife asked what I wanted for Father's Day and I said the EVS Shin Guards and I've worn them everyday I go riding since! I wouldn't go racing without them!
