Comments about Fox - 2012 Pod K700 MX Knee Brace (Pair) (Distributed by Fox):
I am an average B rider. I have used these braces 3 times now and i really like them. This is my first pair of braces. All my older riding buddies use them, so i decided to not put off braces until i waffled myself up. These braces are super light, they articulate well, and are not uncomfortable at all. I am using the hyperextension stops in both braces. The maximum in my right. You can really feel them limit the travel of your leg. This is a big deal to me. I do not have major ligament damage, so for those of you with wobbly loose knees, i can't say how much stability is gained from these braces. That being said, my legs do feel stable with these braces. i actually find them more comfortable than my Thor force knee guards. The floating patella cap was a concern i had as well. However after riding with these on, i actually prefer the floating guard to the traditional style knee guard/pad design. Your knee cap is untouched while riding. This is much more comfortable. Haven't taken a big hit on my knee cap yet, so protection is still suspect.

After looking at all of the different braces available and advice from a orthopidic doctor we choose these for my son and have not been disapointed so far the cost is quite steep but the protection they offer is the best. they are lightweight and after a few minutes you forget you have them on my son loves them. make sure you get the socks that go under the brace they make it way more comfortable. great product everyone would by them if the pricing was lower>

Comments about Fox - 2012 Pod K700 MX Knee Brace (Pair) (Distributed by Fox):
After numerous injuries/surguries a full day of downhilling would leave me crippled for a week. Riding with these braces makes me stronger on the bike and suffer less afterward; very sturdy. Movement, breathability and strength are great but I wish there was a liite padding on the back of the patella cap.

these braces are awesome. i feel like superman with them on and nothing can hurt my knees. i was suprised with the hinge design actually increases knee room when you squat down. the straps are not perfect but of all the braces i have tried these are the closest to perfect.

Comments about Fox - 2012 Pod K700 MX Knee Brace (Pair) (Distributed by Fox):
these braces look good, but fit a little small, and are a little bit bulky too, could'nt pull my pants up high enough to get full movement in my riding gear, all is not lost though, i gave them to a mate and he loves them, heaps better than his old evs and says they are so comfortable you hardly realise your wearing them.

Comments about Fox - 2012 Pod K700 MX Knee Brace (Pair) (Distributed by Fox):
i did all the ligaments in one of my knees, now i do not ride without the 1 brace i bought(now i have just buggered the other knee - so i recommend that getting a pair as preventative is far better than getting it after the crash - save yourself a lot of pain
NB get that pair before you need them - someone once commented on the price of these things - reply " how much for a new knee !! "

Comments about Fox - 2012 Pod K700 MX Knee Brace (Pair) (Distributed by Fox):
Great prodect, stops sideways movement and over extension, however for the price it would be nice if the patella cups were stronger, as it broke on the first serious crash, however thats better then a broken knee-cap. Also make sure you get the right size straps.
