HINGE TECHNOLOGY
At the core of the PODMX knee brace design is the POD Orthotic hinge assembly featuring:
Hinge stop housings which control the locking angles of the brace.
The PODMX knee brace is supplied with 15 degree ‘hinge extension stop’ housings. These extensions are recommended for most riders with standard biomechanical features. To further customize the brace 12.5° and 17.5° hinge extension stop housings are sold separately and are easily installed. TPU Tendon with tensile load bearing fiber designed to replicate a natural range of motion while riding. The TPU Tendon is replaceable when exposed to a serious impact or force. The POD TPU Hinge Assembly is designed to absorb force through an alteration or partial destruction of some of its components.
