I was looking for an alternative to the Leatt braces and saw the Omega X1. This brace fits fantastic. It took several hours of trying it with my gear to come up with a fit that worked but when it did, aesome! I use an O'niel underdog and by putting on a compression shirt then the brace then the underdog it makes a great fit. The two plastic tabs on the front of the brace need to be removed then the underdog and a jersey will fit up under the guard pretty well. I do not even notice it is on. Well built and it looks like it would do the job without all the bulk of the Leatt. Very pleased and only [$]!

Really impressed with this neck brace! I've worn leatts before and this brace feels way more comfortable and two times lighter in weight. Even though it's light it still offers great protection and is really durable. I've already fell pretty hard on my shoulder an head and I popped right up and hoped back on the back with a huge smile

Tried a couple of the big named braces and they just didn't work well for off road riding where I'm moving my head up and down for elevation changes, this omega brace does not affect my body position at all, I really can't tell I am wearing it. This is the only brace I have found to work for off road, harescrambles, enduro's and tight singletrack rides. The thing is great! I will not ride without it.

Low profile, light weight, and easy manueverability makes this brace a pleasure to wear. I can't say how this brace compares to other brands in regard to protection but as one pundit stated; it's certainly better than not wearing a brace at all. For those who have been looking for a brace that is not cumbersome to strap on (although would be nice if the straps could be worn underneath the jersey) and ride with then you will probably like the Omega.
