Comments about Scorpion - VX-34 Spike Helmet:

The price was the deciding factor for me cos I wanted a spare helmet for offroad riding in case the other one's not dried after the wash plus I've always wanted to try to the pump system on Scorpion helmets to try for myself it really does what Scorpion advertized. And yes! The cheek pads do inflate considerably if you need that really snug fit or if the sponge softens. Only problem I had were the pressure points at the temples which gave me hell of a headache when I wore the helmet for a whole day's trail under hot weather. Had to use my thumb to apply some pressure on the foam to let it sink in a little. Note it was the foam that caused the pressure. It was the sewing on the edges of the liner that were too thick and this pressed against my temples. Nevertheless for a sub $200 helmet, this fella is lightweight, offers excellent airflow and comfort. Thanks Scorpion!
