These definitely work and can reduce damage to your fork seals by preventing foreign material damage, or just plain old grit!
May not work well with some holeshot buttons.

I have been continually having issues with leaky seals. Enzo has been great about replacing them for me when they go out, but I figured I better do something pro active. I.E. Add a seal saver type product to my forks. I installed them at the track and by the time the night was over they were bunched up at the bottom of my fork legs and making their way into my front brake system. Not for tough track riding.

Comments about Dirt Skins - Fork Seal Skins:
I don't run exactly these. But i'm running the long Acerbis neoprene socks which covers the whole fork leg. Unfortunately they wear out on the middle to bottom, and getting full of holes. Now i've cut them to half lenght, and it seems to work. I haven't changes fork seels since, and i rode 40 hours with them this year. I'll try these next time as they are shorter. The first review writer probably hasn't thightend them with cable bands (strips). You have to do that both on the top and bottom to make them stay in places. Great product!
