Comments about Sidi - Fusion Boot:
This is the "affordable" Sidi boot, although its retail price is still a lot to me. Even so, I'm very pleased so far. Fit: I wear a size 11 shoe and ordered a size 45; it's just slightly wide for me (but I have a narrow foot) and not at all a problem. Looks: I like the medium-flashy style. The higher priced ones look really cool, but they would be a bit much for me to wear in to work. Quality: Seems very good. The leather is very good quality. The reinforced areas seem solid. Function: The high calf style offers excellent protection. Good flex in the front of the ankle for shifting. Ease of use: They slip on easily, zip up pretty fast (you do need to hold the zipper halves close together) and the velcro is, well, velcro fast.
All in all, I would say this is a good investment. They seem like they'll last quite awhile, and if they do, they'll be an excellent value.
