New Alpinestars Tech 10 boot. New inner bootie has double-hinged torsion bars composed of plastic - will minimize the chances of sprains and twists, but will also protect the ankle from lateral impacts. Three buckles, and molded plastics reduce weight. Other features include full-grain leather in the upper portion of the boot, and a PU shell for safety (protecting the toes, foot, heel, ankle, calf and shin). Extra hard compounds are found on the toe-box, heel and Achilles tendon. Also, the Tech 10?s have a slimmer profile than the Tech 8's, which will reduce anckle buldge.
