Comments about Troy Lee Designs - 2011 BP5850-HW Protective Shirt:
Great design offering a reasonable amount of protection with a low profile look. Product is lightweight and breathes well.
Sizing is quite strange and tends to run extremely large. I am 6'3'' - 205 lbs and wear a medium in the 5850. The medium fits well in general though if forced to size up or down I would choose to go with a small.
Quality is ok, though I suspect the mesh area's will tear easily if not treated delicately.
Issues aside I think this is a great piece of kit which lets you run some protection without looking / feeling like you are all geared up.
