Comments about Troy Lee Designs - Catalyst X Knee Brace (Pair):
Blew out my knee on a big drop last year- dislocation resulting in blown ACL, MCL and Meniscus- needed total knee reconstruction. Long hard recovery but finally got back on my bike. Had researched a lot and finally decided that for max durability, best fit and greatest range of motion, the TLD Catalyst was the way to go. Got my braces about a month ago, annd really wish I would have gotten them sooner. Fit is perfect, they dont budge even after all day pedaling and hitting aggressive drops and jumps. Had a few hard bails but the brace transfers the impact to my thighs and shins. No price for peace of mind. If you're even wondering if you shoulg get quality braces, you should, and these ones are incredible.

- Do not slide down leg
- Easy To Use

Comments about Troy Lee Designs - Catalyst X Knee Brace (Pair):
I had some Asterisk Ultra Cell's. The BOA system is cool, but they still slid down unless I wore my boots. They are very bulky, and barely fit in my SG10 boots. I wore them twice, and on the second ride one of the plastic straps broke! I took themback to Cycle Gear, and they gave me a full refund.
I got the Troy Lee Designs Catalyst X knee supports, and they are alot better! They stay where they are supposed to without boots on, so they dont move at all when you ride. They are smaller, so they fit in the boot no problem. They seem lighter. They are also $200 cheaper! There is a video on youtube that shows how the Asterisk move sideways a little in the hinges, the TLD X's dont.
I think the TLD Catalyst X's are great!

Comments about Troy Lee Designs - Catalyst X Knee Brace (Pair):
After a tear in my medial ligament it seemed logical to get a pair of braces. Looked around a bit and the Troy Lee design braces seemed to fit the bill. Very happy with the braces although the straps do tend to slide a fraction.
They are light and well priced, stamped my foot into a corner last week and felt comfortable with the support that they gave.
All in all very happy with the purchase
