- Revised fit throughout the Full Grain leather upper with redesigned flex panels for improved flexibility
- Closure system featuring 4 aluminum buckles with memory and a quick release/locking system with self-aligning design for easy, precise closure
- Top and bottom reverse closure design feature provides superior impact avoidance and fit
- TPU rubber gaiter at the top of the boot effectively seals out elements
- Contoured shin plate protector is injected with high modulus PU for a high level of impact and abrasion resistance. Additional holes increase ventilation
- Replaceable shock absorbing material on the shin and instep
- Extended inside plate is injected with medium durometer PU and guards the side and toe-box area of the boot
- The inner side of the boot is designed for excellent contact and grip against the bike and provides a high level of support
- Instep and Achilles flex zones for superior comfort, control and support
- Contoured calf protector plate is injected with PU for high impact resistance
- Stamped steel heel guard
- Stainless steel sole guard
- Stamped Suede panel on the inner side of the boot increases grip and is laminated with aluminum foil to guard against heat
- Breathable Cambrelle lining reduces the buildup of heat
- White model features a new ventilation system positioned to improve air circulation
- Leather upper
- Removable and fully perforated leather bootie for a precise fit, with asymmetrical gel ankle protectors and a removable anatomic footbed
- Patented "ankle brace" protector with additional shock absorbing insert for the heel
- Extended front inner gaiter helps prevent water entry

Ive been racing mx since i was 6, I'm 22 now. I've worn them all and Alpinestar's Tech 8 is hands down the best boot available. I still have a pair that i practice in that are from 2003. Show me another pair of boots that can outlast that. Just watch Mx on T.V. look at what the riders wear. Alpinestars for the win.

I've used Tech8's for years. They last, give great feel (Once they are bed in a little).
The only bad thing is that the soles have worn quickly in the past.
There has been word that Alpinestar have change the compound now, so the life should be better.
