On top of the check valve, the K & N-Oil Filters have equipped with a pressure relief valve that protects the pump in case of blockage in the supply lines. These oil filters are designed now with a 50% thicket wall that increases the strength of the inner core, and a heavy base plate that has a double rolled seal to keep the oil from leaking to other places throughout your engine and give it a secure fitment.
