O'Neal - 5 Series Blocker Helmet

The O’Neal 5 Series helmets have returned with a bunch of new styles. Fans of the previous 5 series dirt bike helmets will really like the new designs. The Blocker received some upgrades in both design & function to keep things fresh. As far as design goes, the 2018 O’Neal 5 Series Blocker Helmet is fairly conservative as far as motocross helmets are concerned. It comes in three different colorways, each one more vibrant than the next. The first is a clean White, red & gray colorway that will be cooler in hot weather. The red, white & blue has a very patriot look about it. The black & teal is probably the flashiest of the bunch. The graphics has a sturdy clear coating on them to protect them from heat, sun and abrasions. The graphics on this dirt bike helmet are pretty symmetrical, featuring the O’Neal logo down the side and on top. The tagline “Enjoy the Ride” is branded on both sides as well. The visor protrudes a little bit more than previous models and has a more aggressive look.

Not only does the Blocker have a clean design, this motocross helmet provides excellent protection. That’s because the protective exterior shell is an ABS and polycarbonate blend. The combination of these materials decreases the weight without sacrificing protection. Not only does this helmet provide solid protection, it is pretty comfortable aw ell! This dirt bike helmet is loaded with special angled ventilation ports that help to keep riders cool while they burn up the track. Another useful feature is the super soft interior lining that cushions the riders head. Riders will definitely notice the difference, especially on long rides. The liner is removable so riders can wash it after a long day of working hard. The 2018 O’Neal motocross helmet is surprisingly light-weight when compared to other helmets in a similar price range, weighing only 5.19 pounds.
