VFX EVO Helmet Features:
- Lightweight, Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus (AIM+) Shell
- Fiber glass, high-performance organic, 3-D structures and other organic fibers
- Aerodynamic shell properties maximized through extensive wind tunnel and rider testing
- Expanded rib shapes across rear of shell enhances goggle strap holding performance
- Four (4) shell sizes for best helmet fitment
- 3D Max-Dry removable comfort liner system absorbs two times (2X) its weight in moisture
- Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.) features special straps under cheek pads to aid emergency personnel in helmet removal
- Dual EPS liner with internal air channeling to maximize air flow-through ventilation
- Removable cheeks pads available in optional sizes to personalize rider fitment
- Motion Energy Distribution System (M.E.D.S.); a new, specially inserted module of the EPS liner
- Designed to absorb sudden impacts by reducing rotational acceleration
- Shoei in-house testing showed rotational energy is reduced by 15%!
- 16 Intake / Exhaust vents; additional front air intake scoop vents and two (2) additional, enlarged exhaust outlets maximize air flow ventilation (this is an increase in the number of intake / exhaust vents from its predecessor, the VFX-W)
- V-470 streamlined visor meshes and integrates directly with the shell mold; three external screws allow for easy installation and removal of the visor with the center screw containing a special, internal screw fixing nut allowing for adjustable visor placement to optimize rider visibility
- Larger mouth piece (nose cover) for improved air intake and safety; it features mesh to filter dirt and dust and aluminum mesh to filter roost from entering the mouth
