2014 Yamaha YZF450 and CRF250R | Sneak Peek

This past weekend was the opening round of the All-Japan National MX Championship in Kumamoto, Japan. While the racing is always good, this is where the we get a glimpse of what next year’s motocross bikes will look like and what cool features will be on them.  The cover was taken off of Yamaha’s pre-production 2014 Yamaha YZ450F and it looks radical. All new sub-frame, new plastics, a new frame, new exhaust and a new seat/gas tank.

Not to be outdone, Honda also unveiled it’s pre-production 2014 CRF250R motocross bike. It looks like Honda is bringing back the twin exhaust design on the CRF250R, and the plastics are the same as the CRF450R.

Check out the photos below of all the changes on these two bikes. We might see these bikes, with all their changes on the showroom floor in the near future. We here at BTO Sports are excited to see the new batch of motocross bikes starting to show up!

You can see the wrap around pipe and check out the shock reservoir on the left side.

The pre-production Honda CRF250R. Except for the trick titanium tank, this is what we will see on the showroom floor.
