Jordan Racing International ? | AMA Racing

The news broke earlier in the week that Michael Jordan Motorsports would suspend operations of its AMA Pro Superbike team at the end of October. With the lack of funds in the sport this move doesn’t come as a surprise. The AMA Road Racing series has lost a lot of major teams and sponsors over the years. It doesn’t help either that the racing season has been shortened as have the TV coverage. The Jordan team has ran in the AMA championship for 10 years.

The Michael Jordan Motorsports Team says they will be focusing on racing on the World level next season. The team’s Vice President for public relations , Kreig Robinson states, ” We are evaluating the options of MotoGP and World Superbikes in order to see which option is best for a team structured like ours. We have built up and developed bikes using our own resources.”
