6D - ATR-1 Crusader Helmet
The 6D atr 1 crusader helmet was created by a team of guys who have 10 years of experience in creating top of the line motocross helmets. By introducing the 6D, consumers now have the option to purchase a helmet a step ahead of the leading manufacturers. The new technology in the 6D atr 1 crusader helmet is revolutionary and advanced. The 6D has 54 dampers all around the helmet splitting the EPS into 2 segments. This offers a progressive dampening system  which will dissipate the force of impact anywehere from a low to high speed crash. Anyone remember Zach Bell putting this helmet to the test in the 2013 Dallas SX? Needless to say the 6D atr 1 crusader helmet works...and it works good.

Comments about 6D Helmet 6D - ATR-1 Crusader Helmet:

Safety/low energy impacts I believe are industry leading.

The visor is basically useless on this helmet. A visor is a defensive tool for a rider to tilt their head down to avoid roost but this one is so narrow and short that you can't block anything with it.

Goggle opening is difficult to get Oakley Crowbar goggles through. I kept having to smash my nose to get them on and then almost every time I put the goggles on it would knock the tear-offs off teh goggles.

Low-speed impacts are causing a lot of motocross riders concussions that I think could be avoided if there were better and more application specific helmets available. Hats off to 6D for what they have done and I hope it causes the rest of the industry to take notice and do something more to protect riders. I realize that it will take the AMA, Feld Motorsports and MX Sports to be involved but they definately have a vested interest in protecting their riders!

        Comments about 6D Helmet 6D - ATR-1 Crusader Helmet:

I got the orange colorway and absolutely love it. The helmet is very comfortable and very light And has very good ventilation when riding. It is a little expensive to all the other helmets out their butt how much is your head worth to you. It is one of the most comfortable helmet I've had and the sizing chart for the helmet was spot on. I had to go online the 6D website to find the sizing chart but it fits similar to the troy lee designed helmet's.
