Ride Engineering - Billet Front Brake Caliper

(Must be used with an 11mm Front Master Cylinder. A Ride Engineering Brake Hanger bracket is required to install on a stock size disc except on WR's - hanger bracket is NOT required for the WR250/450.)

Ride Eng.'s newest product is all about improving the braking performance of modern day dirt bikes. Our billet caliper achieves this with larger pistons, a solid, flex free body and with cooling fins that allow air to pass completely through. Although braking power is a little less than an over-sized rotor kit (we estimate a 15% vs. 20% with a 270mm rotor kit), its the feel and modulation on how it applies the pressure to the brake pads that's really impressive here. Initially the lever feels softer, and with less effort the connection between your finger tips and the front tire is greatly improved. This relationship is so good, that it can be paired up with an over-sized rotor kit to give supercross style stopping power! Used by Star/Valli Yamaha. The caliper is lighter than stock and its performance gains can be fully utilized by riders from novice to pro.

Comments about Ride Engineering - Billet Front Brake Caliper:

Great product! I had an oversize brake disc on my bike already, but it did not have much modulation and was very touchy. I put on the Ride caliper and not only did I get more power, I also gained great modulation at the lever. I even used a stock brake line too! Very pleased with the product overall.
