The thoughtful construction of the Arctiva Mech Insulated Bib makes it one of the most durable snowmobile bibs on the market. It is designed with a double layer polyester outer shell and employs ripstop construction, a woven technique that prevents fabrics from tearing. This ensures the bib will withstand rough and cold climates. The outer shell is waterproof, which prevents rain, snow and slush from permeating this barrier and chilling the rider. All the seams on the snowmobile bib are fully sealed to keep the rider dry. The pants are also windproof. The Mech protects riders from stinging alpine winds while simultaneously keeping the buffer of warm air from escaping. Arctiva has identified critical areas that are prone to high wear. As a result, these areas are reinforced with 500D nylon, one of the strongest woven fabrics available.

The snowmobile pants are insulated using 3M™ Thinsulation™ technology. This thin fabric provides a surprising amount of insulation without any of the excess bulk, which can serve as a distraction to riders. The front and back of the thighs are equipped with zipper activated vents. These vents give riders the ability to customize the airflow through the pants. The seat of these snowmobile pants is fortified with a double layer of waterproof material which further protects the rider.
