The moto-9 Fasthouse DITD is actually comprised of two protective layers. The first is the aforementioned composite shell; the second is the Internal EPS foam layer. This layer helps absorb impact forces and distributes them across the surface of the helmet. The EPS layer follows safety compliance, making this Bell dirt bike helmet DOT and ECE certified.

The liner secures to the helmet using the Magnefusion system, which allows for easy removal. It also affords medical staff quicker access to the rider in case they crash.
