Icon - Variant Rubatone Helmet

    The Variant Rubatone Helmet by Icon has a simple design to it, nothing flashing. This helmet’s shell arrives in a single color, a matte black. The Variant Rubatone Helmet shell is comprised of a combination of fiberglass, dyneema, and carbon. It also meets the helmet safety standards of, DOT FMVSS 218(USA), ECE 22-05 (Europe), SAI AS1698:2006 (Australia) and PSC (Japan). The Variant Rubatone Helmet includes a clear Fog-free variant precision optics ™ shield. This shield will provide a wide range of vision for a better view of the road ahead. The shell has also been constructed with an extended chin guard as well as a visor.

    The interior of the Variant Rubatone Helmet interior has a moisture wicking material called by Icon, Hydradry™. This material be completely removed and washed. Though it must only be washed in a mild solution to prevent any damage or deterioration of the material. Another way that the helmet is designed to keep the wearer cool is the addition of several vents that are molded into the helmet. These vents are located on the sides of the helmet front and back as well as the forehead and back of the head. This is to ensure that there are no hotspots while wearing the Variant Rubatone Helmet.
