The DBX 5.0 All Mountain is designed to keep riders shielded from tough weather. It is made out of the triple layer HydraDri fabric. This is a super lightweight material that gives the bicycle jacket so much versatility. HydraDri is a water proof fabric which maintains its water proof properties even when it is under tremendous pressure. This jacket is engineered to repel water, dirt, and mud. The 5.0 mountain bike jacket is well ventilated because HydraDri fabric is designed to be very breathable. In conjunction with HydraDri, the 5.0 cycling jacket has vents on the front and sides of the jacket. The vents can be opened and closed by using a zipper. Both of these features work to maximize the total ventilation for the rider. Despite the ventilation the bicycle jacket provides, the DBX 5.0 prevents wind from penetrating the jacket. All of these features make the DBX 5.0 one of the best mountain bike jackets for rough weather.

The DBX 5.0 All Mountain is loaded with different features that make it a top of the line bicycle jacket. The shoulders and elbows are reinforced with brush guard protection, an ultra-light film that actually bonds to the fabric it is placed on. Brush guard is scratch and abrasion resistant, meaning that the mountain bike jacket will hold up to tough terrain and environments. The cycling jacket is fitted in a way that the rider can still wear light body armor underneath. The hood of the jacket can be pulled over a half shell or full faced helmet to keep the rider warmer in colder temperatures. There is reflective printing on the hood for added visibility for in lower light. There is silicone lining in the cuffs and tail of the jacket to prevent it from rising up. All the YKK zippers on the cycling jacket are coated with AquaGuard®, a polyurethane laminate that enhances water resistance.
