There’s more than one way to achieve waterproofing; Scorpion knows this and that’s why they’re offering the Yosemite pants alongside their other adventure touring pant, the Yukon. Instead of the integrated waterproof membrane found on the Yukon, the more hot weather suited Yosemite pants utilize a removable waterproof liner. And while you might be tempted to think this is slightly less convenient, this setup pays dividends in warmer weather allowing you to remove the liner and open up adjustable thigh vents for straight through airflow. Protection-wise, the Yosemite sticks with Scorpion’s tried and true Sas-Tec CE knee armor and if the PE foam hip pads aren’t enough, you do have the option of upgrading them to Sas-Tec armor.

• 500 denier nylon main material with heavy duty 1680 denier nylon abrasion zones at knees and seat
• Adjustable vents on front and rear of thigh for flow through ventilation
• All critical seams are Exo-Stich® Safety Seams with heavy bar tacking at high stress areas
• Two large cargo pockets thighs, and two front hand pockets
• New Sas-Tec® viscoelastic CE certified armor with molded Velcro® at knees for infinite adjustability
• Pockets with PE foam at hips can be upgraded with Sas-Tec® CE certified armor for extra protection
