Much of the protective details prevent them from wearing down quickly which helps to extend the life of the boots. The Sidi Youth boot interior also has some protective features. The rigid design of the heel reduces side-to-side motion while still allowing fore and aft movement. The whole boot is lined with a plastic guard and reinforced with foam padding for dual protection.
