The M30 Bandit helmet from Simpson is one of those helmets that haven’t been changed since it first came out. The only thing different about it is…well everything besides its classic retro style. This M30 Carbon Bandit helmet comes in two different colors, a high gloss black and a matte black, and has 5 different shell sizes. This helmet was first dropped in the 70s and its style has remained unchanged ever since. It is a great looking helmet that appeals to almost everyone.

The ventilation system that Simpson incorporated into this helmet is phenomenal. It has multiple are intake ports located on the chin bar that provides optimal airflow and cooling, and the CoolMax fabric liner helps to wick moisture away from your head to keep you as cool as possible throughout your ride.

The face shield has various options of tints that you can add if you are not fond of the clear face shield. These replacement shields are easy to remove and install and come in smoke, chrome, and Iridium tints. The face shields are able to be positioned in various places as this helmet has the Free Stop pivot system. Just like the other version of the M30 Bandit Helmet, this Carbon edition is DOT certified.
