Bell - Race Star RSD Formula Helmet

The Bell race star helmet has been designed for both the sport rider and the track rat enthusiast. The shell is been constructed using a carbon fiber polymer that was developed through track and wind tunnel testing. The result was a super light carbon shell, with unmatched visibility in low light situations.

The Race Star Helmet is designed for a snug fit that mitigates movement of the head and dampens sound. The padded parts inside the helmet conform to the shape of the head. These pads are called Flex Impact liners. They are a first of its kind, three-layer impact liner, designed materials.  It does this by using three different materials at three different densities. Upon impact the less dense materials work quickly to disperse energy. As the impact becomes great, the higher density layers engage. The shield on this helmet is just as exceptional.  The Panovision viewport in the Race Star Helmet offers additional vertical and lateral visibility over the previous versions of this helmet and others.

On the interior of the Bell Race Star Helmet it is guaranteed to keep the wearer cool and dry. It is designed to withstand the rigors of hard use in extreme weather conditions. The liner is made from CoolJade fabric that is combined with an ultra-wicking construction. This system can help keep the surface temperature of the skin roughly 10 degrees cooler. All of these pads and liners can be removed and washed by hand.
