The LS2 Beyond is crafted out of high performance fiberglass composite (HPFC). This material is a unique blend of fiberglass and resin that creates a strong & durable shell that absorbs energy. It gives the open face motorcycle helmets excellent protective capabilities while still remaining relatively lightweight. Underneath the fiberglass shell is an EPS layer, designed for shock absorption. Open face helmets, like the LS2 Infinity Beyond lack the full face protection that a full face helmet would provide. However, the absence of the chin bar allows for far greater ventilation. The LS2 Infinity OF521 Beyond Helmet is perfect for hot days, when wearing a stuffy helmet is unbearable. It is equipped with a twin layer drop down sun shield. The sun shield is deployed and retracted by a manual switch on the exterior of the helmet. This feature is unique to the LS2 line of open face motorcycle helmets. The LS2 Infinity also comes equipped with a transparent visor shield. The back interior is lining is moisture wicking, meaning it prevents excess perspiration buildup. It draws moisture away from the skin where it can evaporate and cool off the rider.
