The GT-Air has maximized aerodynamic propterties through Shoei's state of the art wind tunnel as well as Shoei's top motorcycle riders. The upper air intake vent is positioned to maximize air volume into the helmet and evenly distributes fresh air and flushes heat out the rear exhaust vents. The vents are able to be open an closed and will help reduce shield fogging. Supporting the shell is a 4 piece EPS liner that enchances impact absorption, ventilation and provides multiple fit options. The rear of the shell features an air spoiler that reduces drag and lift that will help relieve pressure on the riders neck. For those that have trouble getting their sunglasses to fit in their helmet, worry no more, the GT-Air has a Sun visor shield that drops down with just the click of a button that is convenient enough to use with gloves. The liner is a 3D Max dry multi-layered foam that is easy removable and also features the Emergency Quick Release System. The Shoei GT Air is DOT Approved.
