Airoh Sizing Chart: Find the Perfect Fit for Your Helmet

Italian-built and racing-proven, Airoh has spent decades engineering helmets that balance featherlight shells with serious impact protection. Whether you're carving a mountain pass on a Airoh street bike helmet, hitting motocross whoops in an Aviator, or pulling dual-duty on an adventure ride, getting the right size is the first step to performance and safety. Use the chart below to dial in your fit before you order from BTO Sports.

Airoh helmets are sized by head circumference in centimeters, so grab a soft tape measure and follow the steps below. If you fall between two sizes, Airoh recommends going up — a helmet that's too tight will create pressure points on a long ride.

How to Measure for an Airoh Helmet

Head circumference: Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your head, about a half inch above your eyebrows in front and around the fullest point at the back, just above your ears.

Measure multiple times: Take two or three passes to make sure you're not pulling the tape too tight or too loose.

Round up, not down: If your measurement falls between two sizes, step up to the larger shell. Airoh's removable cheek pads let you fine-tune the interior fit.

Check for hot spots: A properly sized helmet should feel snug and even across your forehead, temples, and crown — with no single pressure point.

Why Proper Airoh Helmet Sizing Matters

A helmet is only as protective as its fit. An Airoh helmet that's too loose can shift on impact and fail to distribute crash forces the way the shell was engineered to. One that's too tight creates pressure points, cuts circulation, and turns a long dirt bike or touring day into a headache. Dialing in the right shell size — then fine-tuning with Airoh's removable liners and cheek pads — is the fastest way to turn a good helmet into a great one. It's also why every rider should revisit their sizing hub when upgrading gear.

If you're also building out the rest of your kit, pair your new Airoh lid with the right protective gear and goggles from our dirt bike gear lineup.
