Our Story
We put it all on the line with our first magazine ad in Dirt Rider and a handful of products that we knew our soon to be customers would be looking for at that time. It had to work, so we made sure that it did. Putting customer service and fast shipping above all, we made our money back that first month. We bought more ads in more magazines, and we bought more products to stock for our customers.
We saw the writing on the wall for the future of E-Commerce, so we again put everything that we had into creating an online shopping experience that our customers would want to tell their friends about. And that’s exactly what we did.
Once we got selling online, our mission was simple:
- Make it easy for our customers to find what they are looking for.
- Listen to our customers and their feedback; nobody knows what they want better than they do.
- Outshine our competitors by prioritizing communication and offering fast solutions to any problems that arise.
- Reward our customers for their loyalty.

Our Evolution
We were the first online retailer of motocross gear, parts & accessories to sell worldwide. In a time when access to our products was either scarce or insanely expensive to those outside the USA, we were offering an unbeatable online shopping experience to nearly every country in the world. As a result, our year over year growth as a company was anything but modest. We became the go-to dirtbike gear source for the riding communities in Australia, Scandinavia, Japan, Eastern & Western Europe, South America - the list goes on. We weren’t just getting people deals on gear that they couldn’t possibly find anywhere else either - we were getting it to them fast and correct.
2008 marked a cornerstone year for us as a company, as the Leatt Neck Brace was introduced to the market. With so much skepticism & uncertainty surrounding this revolutionary type of product, the decision to get in on it early was a pivotal moment for us. We went all in on the uncertain product with a gut feeling of certainty, and nearly doubled our customer base that year.
A wider customer base allowed for us to grow as a company, investing in great people to support us along the way - giving them careers and a place to call home. This also allowed us to get more involved in the sport we know and love. It wasn’t long after that that we partnered up with BBMX to have our first professional race team.
