EVS Sports Sizing Chart: Find the Perfect Fit for Your Protective Gear
EVS Sports has spent decades engineering rider-first protection — from the knee braces that set the standard for motocross joint stabilization to roost deflectors, ballistic jerseys, and support gear trusted by pros and weekend warriors alike. Because every category uses a different fit logic (head circumference for helmets, body weight for roost guards, calf and thigh measurements for knee braces), you need the right chart for the right product. Use the guide below to size every piece of EVS gear you buy at BTO Sports the first time, whether you ride motocross, off-road, BMX, or on the street.
Grab a soft tape measure, a friend for the chest and back measurements, and scroll to the category you need. If your measurement falls between two sizes, size up — a brace or protector that's too tight will cut circulation and shift under impact.
How to Measure for EVS Gear
Head: Using a cloth tape, measure the circumference of your head about one inch above the eyebrows in front and around the largest point at the back. This is the number you match to EVS helmet sizes.
Chest: Lift your arms, have a friend wrap the tape under your armpits, then lower it to the widest part of your chest. Keep the tape level front to back. This measurement drives body armor, ballistic jerseys, and shoulder support.
Knee (calf & thigh): Measure the circumference of your calf 8 inches (20 cm) below the center of the knee and your thigh 8 inches (20 cm) above the center of the knee. EVS knee braces use both numbers.
Hands: Measure around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles, not including the thumb. Match that circumference to the glove size.
Waist & hips: For base layers and kidney belts, measure your natural waist (narrowest point) and the fullest part of your hips.
Height & weight: For race collars, roost deflectors, and youth armor, EVS sizes by height and weight rather than circumference — have both numbers ready.

The EVS T5 and Venture helmets follow standard head-circumference sizing. Measure your head one inch above the eyebrows and match it to the chart below.

EVS knee braces are sized by calf and thigh circumference measured 8 inches above and below the center of the knee. The Web Pro, Axis Pro, Axis Sport, and RS9 share one chart; the SX01 and SX02 use a mid-knee measurement instead.
