Not only have they met these standards but they have engineered beyond those standards. The helmet is made to be durable from lightweight polycarbonate blend shell and of course, with dual density EPS liner of 2 layers; one layer to be softer and the other layer to be slightly harder. Combining the 2 gives it more of a progressive absorption for different levels of impact. There are 2 different shell sizes. A sense of security gives you comfort to enjoy your ride through the streets.

Fly Racing - Sentinel Solid Helmet is coated with anti-fog and a hard coating on the superior clear shield for scratch resistance. You can imagine how optically clear it would be for your vision without having any scratches over time. A drop down tinted inner sun shield of 100% UVA/B protection up to 400 nanometers to protect the eyes and skin. Extra shield only means more coverage from the wind to keep the noisy sound out. Besides, the tinted inner shield really gives the helmet a complete look on the matte black style.

Fly Racing - Sentinel Solid Helmet Qwick- Dry® hydrophilic liner for the best comfort possible and the cheeks pads even absorbs any sweat and is perforated to give the best airflow and ventilation. Fly Racing - Sentinel Solid Helmet has other features like removable chin curtain and removable and washable interior. Also, a high flow ventilation system of 6 adjustable intake vents and 5 exhaust vents. So you could imagine how the removable air guide can accommodate to help direct airflow upwards across the shield. Additionally, the face shield lock keeps the shield in place. Also included is a soft fleece helmet bag.
