The Scorpion Phalanx jacket is a classic textile motorcycle jacket intended for any motorcycle rider. The Scorpion Phalanx jacket blends style and fucntion effortlessly. The shell of the Phalanx incorporates a 600 denier water resistant outer shell construction. There are zippered vents in the under arm area as well as an exhaust vent that allows for air to flow in and out of the jacket. As is standard with Scorpion jackets, they have their large NightViz reflective areas on the shoulders, arms and back for increased night time visibility. Underneath the shell there is added protection with removable CE rated armror in the elbows and shoulders. There is a back protector compartment that does include a PE foam pad, however you can remove it and upgrade to an optional back protector. The Phalanx jacket is good for just about any season of riding, when it gets cooler you can zip in the Ever heat thermal liner vest with a KwikWick moisture lining, when it gets warm, its easily a removable.  The Scorpion Phalanx jacket is a classic sport fit that is roomy and comfortable, however Scorpion has included adjustment tabs on the arms and dual waist straps for a customizable fit. There are some other strategically placed ammenities such as a soft micro fleece on the collar for added comfort, two external hand pockets as well as a internal cell phone pocket and headphone loops.
