The open face helmet has all the charm of the old school helmets, but loaded with the latest helmet technology. The LS2 Kurt/ Bobber OF588 Helmet is crafted out of high performance fiberglass composite (HPFC). This material is a unique blend of fiberglass and resin that creates a strong & durable shell that absorbs energy. It gives the open face motorcycle helmet excellent protective capabilities while still remaining relatively lightweight. Underneath the fiberglass shell is an EPS layer, designed for shock absorption. The LS2 Kurt/ Bobber lacks the full face protection that a full face helmet would provide. However, open face helmets, like the Kurt/ Bobber, provide unmatched ventilation. The open face helmet is well padded with laser cut foam, meant to keep riders comfortable on long rides. The Bobber comes equipped with a removable matte black visor. It attaches to the helmet with a simple three button system that makes installing a breeze. The open face motorcycle helmet is designed with a slight recess underneath the visor. This helps keep goggles securely in place if the rider chooses to wear them. The LS2 Kurt/ Bobber is secured to the riders head with a quick release chin strap. The helmet is available in a wide range of styles.
