The Troy Lee D2 was their original full face mountain bike helmet line. Even though they have released the full featured D3 lineup, the D2 is still as popular as ever. The 2017 D2 models have the same classic feel as the original line but are engineered with cutting edge technology. The Troy Lee Designs D2 Midnight III is the newest in the Midnight helmet family.

This full face mountain bike helmet has many awesome features that make it a great fit for every rider. Like other Troy Lee Designs D2 Helmets, the Midnight III is lightweight due to its aerospace composite shell. Riders will love how light the helmet feel, s especially after a long day of riding. This mountain bike helmet features eleven ventilation ports that facilitate airflow. Four of the vents are designed to help expel hot air, while seven of the vents replace bring in cool air. They crammed as many air vents into this full face mountain bike helmet as possible without compromising the structural integrity. The interior liner is made out of the moisture wicking Coolmax® material. Coolmax prevents excess perspiration by drawing moisture away from the fabric where it can evaporate. The Midnight III mountain bike helmet is also equipped with a mesh liner that allows further breathability.
